How the score works
The score measures how evenly spread your trading card collection’s value is across the five TCG markets, using a concentration formula common in portfolio analysis (the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index), rescaled to a simple 0-100 score.
- 80-100 — Well diversified: Your value is spread fairly evenly across markets.
- 50-79 — Moderately diversified: You lean toward one or two markets but still hold meaningful value elsewhere.
- 25-49 — Concentrated: A single market makes up most of your collection’s value.
- 0-24 — Highly concentrated: Almost all your value sits in one market.
Note: There’s no universally “correct” score — some collectors deliberately concentrate in a market they know deeply. This tool simply shows you where you currently stand, not whether that’s right for you.
